Forever Living, the world’s largest grower, manufacturer and distributor of Aloe Vera products, hosts a yearly Global Rally as a reward for the top sales elite of their ten million strong ownership force. With 13,000 Forever Living business owners from over 150 countries in attendance, they needed a city not just capable of housing such a large and diverse group, but one that could provide all the right ingredients for a truly unforgettable experience. With safety, sunshine, culture, global connectivity and some of the best hotels, restaurants and conference facilities in the world, Dubai certainly fit the bill, and the Arabian Adventures Meetings, Incentives and Events team immediately rose to the challenge of delivering one of the largest events ever staged in the beautiful UAE.
With the popularity of the location seeing the Global Rally booked out in just 48 hours, arriving guests were met at the airport by experienced, multi-lingual guides and skilled translators, before being whisked away seamlessly to their rooms – with four of the cities top hotels required to house the 3000+ qualifiers – the, JW Marriott Marquis and Al Habtoor City consisting of The Westin, W Hotel and St Regis,. Then the following morning amidst a sea of national flags and traditional dress these elite sellers, along with 10000 non qualifers assembled for the start of a three-day extravaganza at the one-million square foot Dubai World Trade Centre.
The following day the full range of daily activities began. Guests could choose to explore the bustling spice and gold souks of old Dubai, or the world-class shopping at the Dubai Mall and the Mall of the Emirates. As if that wasn’t enough they could also visit the world’s tallest building – The Burj Al Arab, experience the splendour of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, hit the slopes at Ski Dubai, or head for Ferrari World, home to the globe’s fastest roller coaster – the Formula Rossa. Whichever activity they chose, it was followed by lunch at a different, exclusive venue, including the revolving Al Dawaar restaurant, the stunning Etihad tower - even a Royal high tea at the Emirates palace.
Each evening meanwhile featured its own exclusive dinner options - from soaking up the views on a sunset dhow cruise, or dining under a desert sky, complete with camel rides, falcon displays, belly dancing and an unforgettable sunset – all featuring a huge selection of local and international cuisine. A fitting end to an extraordinary week, they then enjoyed the signature Wanderlust brunch in celebration of the groups huge achievements.
